Elizabeth is a postdoc studying phytoplankton and microbial diversity and eco-evolutionary dynamics in the lab.

IMG_8293.JPGElizabeth is broadly interested in microbial ecology, particularly in how microorganisms respond to environmental change.  She did her MS and PhD research with Dr. Don Zak at the University of Michigan.  As a new member of MorrisLab, she’s excited to add evolutionary approaches to her science toolkit.  She’s already gotten her feet wet (literally) in marine research as part of MorrisLab aboard the August 2016 CLaSiC cruise (Jeff Krause, DISL, cruise PI).
