MorrisLab is always looking for talented and curious scientists to explore the secrets of the microbial world with us. Contact us if you’re interested in joining the crew!
Dr. Morris is the mad overlord of MorrisLab.
Alex is Morrislab’s manager.
Elizabeth is a postdoc studying phytoplankton and microbial diversity and eco-evolutionary dynamics in the lab.
Sarah is MorrisLab’s first graduate student. She studied art and biology as an undergraduate and is pursuing a PhD in STEM Education that is broadly focused on improving introductory undergraduate biology education using active learning strategies.
Rachel is a Morrislab member since late 2015. She is working on using art in undergraduate biology education, and also looking at the communal side of oxidative stress defense in Vibrio fischeri.
Christina is studying how ocean acidification influences ecological relationships between Prochlorococcus and Synechococcus.
Here’s a tribute to the MorrisLabbers who’ve sailed on to bigger and better things. Gone but not forgotten!
